ZINK, Michael A. Â age 38, of Grand Blanc, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Gilbert Mabry officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Michael was born April 28, 1968 in San Francisco, CA, the son of Gary and Pat (Davis) Zink. He was a 1986 graduate of Swartz Creek High School. Michael served in the United States Marine Corps for 8 years and later was a commissioned First Lieutenant in the U.S. National Guard. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Michigan Flint. Michael was employed as an Electronics Engineer with Autoliv in Southfield. He enjoyed playing the guitar and all sports, especially playing softball for many years on a local team. Surviving are: two sons, Bryan Michael Zink, Kyle Robert Zink; daughter, Heather Nicole Zink, all of Grand Blanc; mother of his children, Karen Zink; parents, Gary and Pat Zink of Swartz Creek; four siblings, Marcia and husband, Troy Tousey of WI, Richard Zink and wife, Lisha of AZ, Lori Zink of SC, Kimberly and husband, Paul Rivera of TN; special friend, Brian Gellings; uncle, Robert Davis and wife, Kyle; many nieces and nephews.
