Michael Jacob Zack

ZACK, Michael Jacob- Age 61, of Fenton, passed away May 9, 2024. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, June 28, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Home. A VFW Auxiliary Service will be held 7:00 PM Friday under the auspices of Fenton VFW Post #3243. Visitation will also be held from 10AM until the time of service Saturday. Memorial Contributions in Michael's memory would be appreciated to the family C/O Sharp Funeral Home.

Michael was born October 27, 1962 in Hamtramck, the son of Jacob and Rita Marie (Coismak) Zack. He graduated from Fenton High School in 1980. Michael was a self-employed Carpenter and was a "master of all trades." He has served as the President of the Fenton VFW Post #3243 Auxiliary for many years. In his youth he served as an Altar Server at St. John Catholic Church in Fenton. Michael enjoyed living on Runyan Lake. He enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing, hunting, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He was happiest when he could assist others, especially Veterans and his friends.

Michael is survived by, his children, Mike (Rachel) Zack, Morgan Zack, Shawna Hoskins, Cedric (Candice) Hoskins; grandchildren, Jaylen, Teigen Maesie, Bradyn, Aden, Tori, Kendra, Kara, Davah, Payton, Adalynn, Maddox, and Siana; and his long time "soulmate and love of his life", Layne Schupbach.
