Michael L. UNITIS

UNITIS, Michael L., age 91 of Gladwin, died Monday, March 9, 2009 in Flint. Michael was born in Pennsylvania on March 15, 1917. Later he lived in Redford, MI and worked for 39 years at the Uniroyal Tire Co. in Detroit. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during W.W.II. He enjoyed his retirement years in Gladwin and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving is his loving wife of 68 years, Marcella, his 3 daughters, Kathleen A. Martz (Thomas Mlynarski), Jacqueline K. Unitis and Denise M. Kleiner (Norman). Also surviving is a grandson, Michael J. Martz and a brother, Frank Unitis. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 1227 E. Bristol Rd., Burton, MI. Burial will follow in St. Hedwig Catholic Cemetery in Dearborn Heights, MI.at 1:30 P.M.
