Michael Jordan SVARC

SVARC, Michael Jordan, age 26, of Durand, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 at home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Aaron Bolduc and Pastor John Scalley officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon. Visitation will be Sunday 6:00 -9:00 p.m. and Monday 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Michael J. Svarc Scholarship Fund. Michael was born October 20, 1984 in Owosso the son of Richard and Terry (Carpenter) Svarc. He graduated from Durand High School and in 2010 earned his Bachelor Degree as a youth pastor from Grace Bible College, Grand Rapids. Michael volunteered at Pointe Church, Goodrich, Mars Hill Church, Grand Rapids and Youth for Christ. He was a devoted Christian and inspired many people. Michael has fought the good fight of Sarcoma and now resides in his true home along with all the Saints who have gone before him. The Crown of Life is his. Surviving are his parents, Richard and Terry Svarc of Durand; four siblings, Cheryl Rozell (Ron) of Lennon, Douglas Svarc (Nanci) of Owosso, Daren Svarc (Melissa) of Bancroft, Scott Svarc of Owosso and six nieces and nephews.
