RUMSCHLAG, Michael John -- Age 56, of Fenton, died Friday, April 27, 2007 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Monday, April 30 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 Adelaide St., Fenton. Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Visitation will be 6-9 PM Saturday, 1-9 PM Sunday, with a 4:30 PM Rosary Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice. Michael was born June 6, 1950 in Detroit the son of John Henry and Margaret Mary (Shea) Rumschlag. He earned his B.S., Vocational Education Diesel and Heavy Equipment Degree from Ferris Sate University. Michael served in the Peace Corps from 1975-1977. He was married to Brenda Kay Green on May 23, 1981 in Fenton. He had resided in Fenton the past 12 years. In prior years he had resided in Antofagasta, Chile, Carson City, NV, Muskegon, MI, Spring Lake, MI, Yuma, AZ, and Warren, MI. He and Brenda had traveled around the World. Michael was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Pioneer Memorial Association. He was a Cubmaster for 3 years and volunteer with the Fenton Schools. He loved Diesel engines and travel. He was employed by DMAX, Ltd. in Plymouth as a Diesel Engineer. Michael is survived by: his wife Brenda; two sons, Scott and Eric, all of Fenton; parents, John and Mary of Warren; four brothers, Tom and wife Linda of Rochester Hills, John and wife Alice of Richmond, Dan and wife Sheila of Armada, Henry and wife Lynn of Grosse Pte. Woods; two sisters, Ann and husband Tony Lopez of Mt. Clemens, Martha Rumschlag and husband Wes Jefferson-Swint of Walled Lake; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
