Michael George Putnam

PUTNAM, Michael George - Age 77, of Fenton, passed away September 21, 2023. A committal service will be held 2:30PM Monday, October 16, 2023 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Belford Rd., Holly, MI 48442. Cremation arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Memorial contributions in Michael's memory would be appreciated to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Michael was born March 2, 1946 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Franklin R. and Marianne (Heritsch) Putnam. Michael graduated from Fenton High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Michael was employed as a SPC Auditor with G.M. for 30 plus years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing and watching sports of all kinds.

Michael is survived by his siblings, Tony (Thu) Putnam, Marianne Slaughter, and Stephen (Beth) Putnam; and his nieces and nephews, Lowell, Yvonne, Lisa, Gayle, George, Tristan, and Aaron; and several great nieces and nephews.
