POWELL, Michael William- Age 56, of Howell, passed away October 4, 2015. Funeral services will be held 3 PM on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Michael was born on September 1, 1959 to Stanley and Doris (Jones) Powell. He was a maintenance worker for Hartland Public Schools and enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, watching football, and listening to "old time" rock and roll. Michael is survived by his brothers, Stanley Powell, Jr. and Daniel (Sherry) Powell, Sr. of Swartz Creek, MI,; nephews, Daniel and Hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents.
