Michael Duane PHELPS

PHELPS, Michael Duane - Age 65, of Lennon, died Friday, August 21, 2009 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Private services have been held. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Michael was born May 17, 1944 in Flint, the son of the late George and Betty (Smith) Phelps. He married Sharon Adams in Flint on February 19, 1965. Mr. Phelps was a graduate of Flint Northern High School and was employed as a die maker by General Motors at the Grand Blanc Metal Fab Plant until his retirement. Surviving are his loving wife of 44 years, Sharon of Lennon; son, Scott (Sarah) Phelps of Grand Blanc; daughter, Lisa Lewandowski of Flint; 5 grandchildren, Ashley, Tommy, Alex, Jacob and Mikey.
