PERKS, Michael Henry - Age 47, of Fenton, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at his residence. Funeral servcies will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Jon Allen officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Michael was born May 27, 1964 in Wayne, the son of John Francis and Marion Lorraine (Trader) Perks. He was a graduate of John Glenn High School in Westland. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He married Linda Marie Kile August 26, 1993 in Garden City. Michael was employed by Jay Chevrolet. He had resided in Fenton for the past 12 years coming from Westland. Surviving are: wife, Linda; 3 children, Michael Jonathan, Christopher James and Kaylynn Marie Perks all of Fenton; mother, Marion Perks of Kentucky; 4 brothers, John (Freda) Perks of Kentucky, Frank Perks of Westland, Matthew (Stella) Perks of Northville and Mark Perks of Inkster; 2 sisters, Sandy (Mike) Williams of Flint and Kristee (Craig) Kile of Kentucky; mother-in-law, Elaine Kile of Garden City; sister-in-law, Karen (Ron) Stafford of Belleville; brother-in-law, Craig (Kristee) Kile of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews.
