Michael Parsell

Michael Stephen Parsell -- Age 66, of Grand Blanc, passed away Wednesday morning, February 17, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center with dear friend Deborah Keech Tower at his side. Mike's remains will be buried next to his beloved Grandparents, Erma and Leon Parsell at Flushing City Cemetery. A ceremony will be held in June, please check Facebook for more details. Mike was born October 24, 1949 in Flint and was a lifelong resident of The Flint area and graduated from Grand Blanc High School. He made his mark in advertising for Vern Parsell Buick, assisting in making it among the highest volume automotive dealerships in the world. Mike's love of music was fosterered through his association with WTAC in Flint and WSRF/WSHE Ft. Lauderdale/Miami in the 1970's where he often joined friend Tom Milner on the air. He was always the life of the party and a kind-hearted generous soul. Mike was an avid Detroit Tiger fan and loved sports, especially Softball, at which he excelled at for many years. His faith will guide him on his next journey as he joins his father Vernon, Mother Mary and brother Tom who preceded him in death. Mike is survived by Sister Nancy Parsell Goss of Newport, Vermont, brother Mark Parsell of Memphis, Tennessee and many neices and nephews who loved him.
