O'REILLY, Michael James - age 87, of Topinabee, MI, died Thursday, January 21, 2010. Memorial mass will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley St, Flint with Fr. Thomas Firestone celebrant. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Cross in the Woods, 7078 M-68 Indian River, MI 49749. A memorial mass at the Cross in the Woods Catholic Church will be announced at a later date. Mr. O'Reilly was born June 11, 1922 in Flint, the son of Edwin and Genevieve (Bundy) O'Reilly. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II. He married Dorothy O'Brien on October 30, 1943 and she preceded him in death on March 29, 2005. Mr. O'Reilly retired from Hamady Bros. Grocery in 1985 after 35 years of service in Refrigerator Maintenance. Surviving are: two sons, Patrick (Loretta) O'Reilly of Burton, Thomas O'Reilly of Flint; three daughters, Jan (Jim) Van Gilder of Flushing, Kathleen (Tom) Basile of West Bloomfield, Maureen Bryant of Indian Trail, NC; daughter-in-law, Laura O'Reilly of Flint; eight grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Noreen Bellill.
