Michael Conrad

Conrad, Michael Lee- Age 81 of Flint, died Monday, February 7, 2022 at McLaren Hospital. A memorial mass will be held 10 AM Monday, February 21 at St. Matthews Catholic Church 706 Beach St.. Celebrant will be Father Anthony Strouse. Visitation will be held 9 AM until the time of service. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Mike was born March 28, 1940 in Flint, the son of Leo and Harriet (Hoover) Conrad. Mike was a resident of Flint all his life. He retired from General Motors Flint after 30 years. In his spare time he enjoyed played cards, golf, fishing, running his construction company and restoring trunks. He was a huge Powers Catholic High School and Michigan State Football fan. He also donated to Powers Catholic and St. Jude Children's Hospital. Mike married Joanne Pawli on June 3, 1988 and she preceded him in death on July 2, 2014. Surviving are Tony Conrad of Montrose, Teresa Conrad of  Daytona Beach FL., Kathryn Conrad of Burton, Pamela Shelton of Daytona Beach FL., Patricia Whiting (Jeff) of Holly Hill FL., Stephanie Thomas (Rhonda) of Marlette, Christi Pawli of Flint; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren with 3 on the way.
