Michael Newman

NEWMAN, Michael Jay - Age 52, of Flint, died Friday, April 22, 2022.  Per his request cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Michael was born April 30, 1969 in Flint, the son of Lloyd Jay and Rita Rose (Fisher) Newman.  He was a 1987 graduate of Carman Ainsworth High School.  He served in the U.S. Navy.  He was employed by Mega Classic Diner in Flint as a cook and dishwasher.  Michael enjoyed bowling, playing euchre, and watching Detroit Sports.

Surviving are: his daughter, Alexandria Newman (Austin Summersett) of Midland; sister, Dawn McLain of Burton; brothers, Danny Newman and Ricky Newman both of Flint; and several nieces and nephews.
