Michael Gaffey

We mournfully announce the passing of Michael Gaffey, age 67, of Bancroft, MI. Michael passed away on December 29, 2020 after a sudden illness.

Michael was born in Detroit, MI on April 29, 1953 to Edward and Lorna Gaffey. As a child he moved to Pennsylvania and grew up there until returning to Michigan in 1975.

While Michael never married he lived a full life and was an avid fisherman and car enthusiast. With no professional training he rebuilt and restored many old cars to their original beauty.
Michael leaves behind brother Kevin (Cathy) Gaffey, sister Cheryl (Patrick) Boots, niece Haylee Gaffey and nephews Christopher and Corey Boots, as well as a grand-niece Paisley Boots, and grand-nephews Caden Boots and Francis Boots. We will miss him and always remember his humor. He was predeceased by his parents.

There will be a graveside service for family and friends to be announced at a later date.
