Michael Forgie Sr.

FORGIE, Michael John, Sr. - Age 35, of Swartz Creek, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (A live stream of the service will be available on Michael's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com).  Pastor Brad Foster officiating.  Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly 10:00 AM Friday, October 21, 2022.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Nicole Forgie, Funds will be used for Michael's children.

Michael was born September 20, 1987 in Royal Oak.  He married Nicole Marie Trombley January 23, 2015 in Richmond.  He had resided in Swartz Creek for the past year, coming from Macomb County.  He was a veteran of the Gulf War in Iraq, serving in the U.S. Army.  Michael was member of the American Legion Post 64 in Flint and a former member of the American Legion in Sterling Heights.  He enjoyed video gaming and spending time with his children.

Surviving are: his wife, Nicole; children, Cameron, Tyren, Joshua, Makenzy, Ysabelle, and Michael, Jr.; mother, Lois Forgie of Swartz Creek; brothers, Randy (Amanda) Forgie of Oxford and Robert Shannon of Walled Lake; niece, Lillian; nephew, Emery; special friends, Steven and Heather Biezak (Ila) of Leonad; and several other friends.
