Michael J. Budzyn, age 67, of Burton, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024. There will be no services at this time. Michael will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Michael was born on October 6, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Harry & Rose Budzyn. He graduated from Mott Warren High School class of 1974.

His most recent employment was as a manager at Rite Aide; however he started working at a young age at Friar Tuck's Restaurant. In his earlier years, he enjoyed a game of golf. Michael was blessed with many years of traveling with his life partner, Lynn. Above all Michael adored his nieces and nephews and time spent with family.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Elizabeth) Choinski; two sisters, Debra (John) Schatz and Kathy (Michael) Folts; sister-in-law, Karen Budzyn and many nieces and nephews whom he cherished like his own children.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Rose Budzyn; brother, Donald Budzyn and partner of 32 years, Lynn Rutty.

The family would like to thank McLaren Hospice, Mannor Law, and The Ridge of Burton for their compassion and support through his final days.
