Michael Bateman

BATEMAN, Michael Scott-Odesser -- Age 18 of Burton and East Lansing, died Monday, November 9 2015. Funeral services will be held 5PM on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Minister Michael A. Golwitzer officiating. Interment will take place at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 2-9PM on Friday, and from 1PM until the time of service Saturday. Michael was born August 26, 1997 the son of Scott Russell-Odesser Bateman and Jessica Beth Allison in Beaufort, SC. Michael graduated from Bendle High School, the class of 2015 where he was part of the National Honor Society and was excellent with his studies. He was Captain of the football team, and was also active with the baseball and basketball teams. Michael was a freshman at Michigan State University where he was studying general studies and pursuing a business degree. He also worked at Aquatie Services Inc. Survived by: father, Scott Russell-Odesser (step-mother, Molly) Bateman, mother, Jessica Beth Bateman, sister Abigail Elizabeth Bateman, grandparents; Russell and Phyllis Bateman and Mary Allison, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
