Merry Ella LOCKE

LOCKE, Merry Ella, age 74, of Flint, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Holly Convalescent Center. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be 3-8PM Monday, July 2, 2012 at the funeral home. In Lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Merry was born November 9, 1937 in Dado, Arkansas the daughter of the late John and Lucille (Starnes) Winchester. She married Carroll Hale Lock on January 9, 1954 in Flint. Merry enjoyed spending time with her family and was a loving friend to all. Surviving are her husband, Carroll; 7 children, Keith Lock of TN, Vicki McKay, Kurt Locke, Karen Locke all of Flint, Starla Beemer (Robin) of Gaines, Paul Locke (Heidi) of Flint, Vince Locke of Mt. Pleasant; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 9 siblings, Wayne Gozie, Bill, Dale, Clifford and Jimmy Hampton, Bonnie Wolosonowich, Robert Hampton, JF Winchester, and Thomas Gene Hampton; several nieces and nephews.
