KUEHN, Melvin O. Â Age 81, of Linden, died Sunday, March 7, 2004 at Argentine Care Center. Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, March 11, 2004 at Hope Lutheran Church, Linden with Pastor Lawrence Eckart officiating. Interment will be held at Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia. Visitation will be from 6-9 PM Tuesday and 1-4 and 6-9 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Association or Hope Lutheran Church. Mr. Kuehn was born February 28, 1923 in Detroit, the son of Godfried and Wilhelmina (Behrendt) Kuehn. He married Eleanor Qualmann on June 9, 1951 in Detroit and they have resided in Linden for 20 years. Mr. Kuehn was retired from Chrysler as a Draftsman Engineer with 26 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. Mr. Kuehn was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and the U.A.W. He was a former member of the Lutheran War Veterans, Clarenceville Board of Education, Band Boosters and Athletic Club. Surviving are: wife, Eleanor Kuehn of Linden; two sons, Mark Kuehn of Gladstone, MI, Dale Kuehn and wife, Ann of Linden; daughter, Jill and husband, Andre Letourneau of Hartland; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Barbara, Nicole, Marcel, Royale, Pierre, and Maurice; many nieces and nephews.
