Melvin Dart

DART, Melvin R. "Mel" - age 66, of Mt. Morris, passed away, Monday, March 14, 2022. Funeral Services 3:00 PM Friday, March 18, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation 11:00 AM until the time of service Friday. Memorial Contributions would be appreciated in Mel's memory to McLaren Hospice, Davison.

Melvin was born August 5, 1955 in Durand, the son of Robert D. and Alice (Shaw) Dart. He graduated from Swartz Creek High School. Mel proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a Truck Driver for many years. Mel enjoyed playing cards and camping.

Mel is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Dart, and Angela Dart; grandchildren, Aysha Green, and Jazmine Dart; former wife, Barbara Dart; sisters, Linda Samuelson, and Bernetta Alexander; several nieces and nephews.
