BUCKEY, Melvin James "Jim" -- Age 69, of Clio, died May 4, 2016. Private committal services at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road Swartz Creek. Jim was born August 9, 1946 in Saginaw the son of Donald and Nan (Parks) Buckey. He married Gatha Taylor on December 29, 1979. He was a Veteran of the U.S.A.F. He is survived by his wife, Gatha Buckey of Clio; children, Shane Buckey of Birch Run, Jonathan Buckey of Traverse City, Wendy (Dave) Beggs of Chesaning; mother, Nan; 5 grandchildren, Zachary, Dustin, Taylor, Sarah, James; 1 great grand-daughter, Adrienne; sister-in-law, Pat (Bruce) Hunt; mother-in-law, Nell Taylor.
