WYKES, Melissa Marie "Meme" Age 35, of Flint, died June 10, 2017. Funeral services will be held 1PM Thursday June 15 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 11 AM until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Melissa Wykes Memorial Fund For Timmy's continuous education, c/o Laura Olger. Melissa was born August 16, 1981 the daughter of Lavern Wykes and Laura ( Rosher) . She was a graduate of Swartz Creek High School and Mott Community College. She worked at Durand Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center. Melissa was the most dedicated and loving mother to her son. She had a love for elderly and enjoyed caring for them. She is survived by her son, Timothy "Timmy" Bubba; mother, Laura (Stewart) Olger; 6 siblings, Susan Wykes (Jim Gray), Jason (Erin) Wykes, Elicia (Isaac) Sanchez, Chad Wykes (Amber Linn), Kaylyn Trevarrow, Ashlyn Trevarrow (Daquan Nunn); many nieces and nephews; best friend, Jamar Calvin.
