WALCOTT, Maxine, age 87, of Fenton, died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Maxine was born in Fenton, February 4, 1921 the daughter of Jesse V. and Irene Powlison. Â She graduated from Baker Business College in 1940 and was employed by Chevrolet Flint Motors as a secretary to the Personnel Director. Maxine married Dr. Carver Walcott on October 19, 1968 and he has preceded her in death. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Fenton where she was a choir member for twenty-nine years, The Bayview Club, Genesee County Medical Society and a former member of St. Cecilia Society. Surviving are her brother, Eugene N. Powlison and wife, Maxine of Fenton; nephew, David E. Powlison and wife, Lisa of Vermont; niece, Karen I. Benson and husband, Robert of Birmingham; great-nephews and nieces, Spencer Powlison of Colorado, Meredith Powlison of Vermont, Brendan and Blaine Benson of Birmingham. She was also preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held 1PM Thursday, May 29, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church of Fenton, 503 S. Leroy St., Fenton. Pastor Dale C.
