Maxine Elouise LIPP

LIPP, Maxine Elouise - Age 82, of Flint, died Monday, April 20, 2009 at Fostrian Manor. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 24, 2009 at Lighthouse Chapel of the Deaf (First General Baptist Church), 1102 W. Hemphill Road, Flint. Visitation will be held at the church Friday from 12:00 PM Friday unitl time of service. Maxine was born July 1, 1926 in Crystal Township, the daughter of Orville Jay, Sr. and Leda Tressa (Mangus) Hendrick. She was a graduate of the Michigan School of the Deaf and retired from Latreille Cleaners after 30 years of service. Surviving are: 3 children, Duane Lipp, Jr. of Flint, Paul Lipp of Grand Blanc, Sally Robinson and fiance David Gardner of Flint; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, George and wife Judy Hendrick and Loren Hendrick; 3 sisters, Betty Bussel, Margaret Annalee Reed and Mary Jane Madison; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane Lipp, Sr.; 10 brothers and sisters. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.
