POST, Max Haymond - Age 73, of Linden, died June 7, 2016. Services will be held 1 PM Saturday, June 11, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church of Fenton, 503 S. Leroy St., Fenton. The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Those desiring may make contributions to The Nature Conservancy. Max was born March 30, 1943 in Flint, the son of Kirk and Margaret Leigh (Haymond) Post. He served in the National Guard and was an active member of the Linden Sportsman Club. Mr. Post retired from General Motors. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, woodworking and fishing. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn; son, Joshua (Kelli) Post; grandchildren, Jase and Kara Post; AFS exchange students, Alexandria Scotti, Pernille Pheiffer Hansen and Yvonne Ritze-Herrmann; brothers, Dick and Kirk Post.
