WENDT, Matthew Robert  Age 28, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Monday and 2-5 and 6-9 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek where a rosary will be prayed 7 PM Tuesday evening. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Shriners Crippled Childrens Fund. Matt was born August 1, 1977 in Flint, the son of Robert Otto and Diane Frances (Voight) Wendt. Matt attended Crouse Instructional Center for the Severely Impaired for 25 years. He was a happy, carefree person his whole life and touched many lives. Matt was rarely without a bouncing ball. Surviving are: parents, Robert and Diane Wendt of Swartz Creek; three brothers, Steven Wendt, Richard Wendt, Neil Wendt and fiancâ?se, Michelle; maternal grandmother, Virginia Voight; paternal grandparents, Otto and Alma Wendt; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
