Matthew Allen 'Matty' Sweatland

Sweatland, Matthew Allen 'Matty' - Age 21, of Flushing, died Friday, October 27, 2006. Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Thursday, November 2, 2006 at Community Hope Church of God, 132 N. Beech St, Flushing with Rev. Dr. Mary Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Tuesday and 1-9 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will also be held Thursday from 12 PM until the time of service at the church. Matthew was born December 27, 1984 in Flint, Michigan. He was a graduate of Kearsley High School and was currently employed by Marching Ant Moving Company in Grand Blanc. Surviving are parents, Christine and Dan Otto of Flushing, Doug Sweatland and Sheila Cudd of New Port Richie, FL; brothers, Michael Sweatland, Joshua Cudd, Joel Backmeier, and Brandon Otto; grandparents, Carolyn and Joseph Haley of Flushing, Bill and Linda Jones of Montague, Nancy Sweatland of New Port Richie, FL, Harold and Sue Rappley of Flint, Norma Jean Otto of Flushing; Great-grandmother Isabelle Jones; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.
