Matthew Nold

NOLD, Matthew D - age 62, died December 8, 2020 in Fenton. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN on February 28, 1958 to Curtis and the late Mary (Dilgard) Nold. Matt graduated from Southside High School in Fort Wayne and ITT Technical Institute with a major in robotics. This led to working in the automotive industry with companies like General Motors, CTS Corporation, and Delphi Electronics, mostly in the Flint area. Finally, Matt got into his first love, restoring antique cars. He was known throughout the country for his expertise in Jaguar and Triumph vehicles. His 1963 Jaguar XKE was FIRST IN SHOW in competition rallies all over the US. It now rests in the museum in Auburn, IN. Matt also worked at the H.I.S. ministries and was active in his local church. He is survived by his father Curtis (Gloria), brother Jonathan (Kimberly), and sister Margaret Cahill. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN with services at a later date.
