Matthew Hyder

HYDER, Matthew Wayne - Age 55, of Mt. Morris, passed away September 19, 2021. Funeral services will be held 4 PM Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063  Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Matthew was born March 2, 1966 in Colorado Springs, CO. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy, serving during Operation Desert Storm. He was a Navy Seabee in Active Duty and Reserves. His favorite past times include spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, fishing,  hosting fish fry's and pig roast for family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Wendy; sons, Nathan (Cami) Hyder and Mack (Brittanie) Hyder; Jenna Ferguson and David (Sara) Black, who were like his children' grandchildren, Megan, Dawson, Nickolai, Mia, Laine and a baby boy on the way; mother, Patricia Barnes; siblings, Brandi Raska, Jason Hyder, Christopher Moffet, Bradley Barnes and Kimberly Brown; several nieces and nephews.
