COTTERMAN, Matthew David - Age 38, of Flushing died Tuesday, June 9, 2020. Private family services will be held but will be live streamed at 1PM Saturday June 13 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in at Sunset Hills Cemetery. A public visitation will be held 2PM - 8PM Friday and 10AM -1PM Saturday. Matthew was born April 24, 1982 in Flint, the son of David Dean Cotterman and Mary Lou Zamarripa. He married Deidre Gail Tyler in Flint on July 3, 2011. Matthew enjoyed working with stain glass, golfing, coaching basketball and baseball, playing pool and especially enjoyed family vacations. He worked for Aunt Millie's Bread Company and currently for Tremec for the past few years. Surviving are: wife, Deidre Cotterman of Flushing; children, Dominique Laffrey of Flushing, Gage Cotterman of Flushing, Dade Cotterman of Flushing; mother Mary Lou (Chris Edinger) Zamarripa of Fenton; father, David Dean (LaDonna Michelle) Cotterman of TN; siblings, Nicholas (Jodi) Cotterman of North Branch, Christian Edinger of Fenton, Emmanuel Edinger of Fenton, April Renee Cotterman of TN, Ashley Nichole Cotterman of TN, Keira Michelle Cotterman of TN, Brayden Alexander Cotterman of TN, Dylan Rogers of TN and many nieces and nephews.
