BROWN, Matthew Scott -- Age 48, of Champaign, Illinois, formerly of Swartz Creek, died November 17, 2014. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, November 21 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Matthew Brown Memorial Fund c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Matthew was born April 21, 1966 in Flint the son of William and Carol (Daniel) Brown. He was an accomplished BMX bike racer. He had a passion for Graphic Arts. He also enjoyed the outdoors. Surviving are parents, Carol and William Brown; brother, William Brown (Pam Gearhart) of Davison; sister, Nicole (Jay) Rosebrough of Grand Blanc; 2 nieces, Avery and Katherine Rosebrough; longtime companion, Carol Topping and her son Jack; an aunt and cousins.
