Mary Wisniewski

WISNIEWSKI, Mary Jane - Age 85, of  Fenton, died Thursday, March 12, 2020.  Services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton.  Those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association.

Mary was born February 23, 1935 in Bartley, WV, the daughter of Alonzo and Golden Mae (Brooks) Barnett.  She married Robert Wisniewski July 16, 1955 in Detroit and he preceded her in death October 3, 2003.  She had resided in Fenton since 1978 coming from Detroit.  She owned and operated a catering service for many years.  Mary was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and working on her ancestry.

Surviving are: her daughter, Sandra (Russell) McDowell of Fenton; grandchildren, Jessica Jansen of Royal Oak, Brett (Laura) McDowell of Cedar, Jennifer (Yuta) Inoue of Japan, Sean McDowell of Pennsylvania, and Nicole McDowell of Fenton; brother, Joseph "Butch" Sveticki of Milford; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; step father, Frank Sveticki; son, John Robert Wisniewski; sisters, Nira Gajewski and Charlotte McKeough; and brother, Alonzo Barnett.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
