Mary Sly

SLY, Mary Cynthia (Cindy)- Age 61 of Flint, passed away August 8, 2016. Funeral Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. She was born December 3, 1954 in Flint, to Ernest D. and Dorothy (Salgat) Sly. She was a graduate of Southwestern High School. She retired from Delphi. Cindy was the type of person who would give you the shirt off of her back, no questions asked. She had an unwavering love for animals, enjoying every minute caring for them in any way she could. Cindy is also remembered for her mouthwatering recipes and being a first class cook. One of her more notable specialties was making scrumptious tasting fudge for her family and friends. Cindy was very dedicated to caring for her family and those around her. She saw to it that everyone around her was comfortable and well cared for. She will be sincerely missed by the lives that she touched. Cindy is survived by her brothers, Mike (Carol), Ken (Janet), Gerald (Bonnie), Fred (Pennie), Jim (Renee), and Herb; sister in law, Beth Sly; two fur babies, Kasey and Bella; nieces and nephews; several very close friends.
