Mary Shelby

SHELBY, Mary Louella - Age 90, of Fenton, died Wednesday, May 19, 2021.  Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton.  Pastor Brad Foster officiating.  Visitation will be held 2 PM Sunday until the time of the service.

Mary was born October 6, 1930 in Flat River, MO, the daughter of Clarence L. and Ida May (Mungle) Fadler.  She married Arnette Shelby April 1, 1950 in Arkansas and he preceded her in death May 19, 2016.  She had resided in Fenton for the past 5 years, coming from Salem, MO.  She enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are: 4 sons, Gary (Cinda) Shelby of Winterhaven, FL, Larry (Barb) Shelby of White Lake, Ken (Sandy) Shelby of Davison, and Jerry Shelby of Swartz Creek; 7 grandchildren, Larry, Jr., Carol Sue, Zachary, Kenny, Kevin, Kyle, and Cameron; 12 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Martha Ann and Sherry Ann; granddaughter, Jessica Ann Brown; and 5 siblings.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
