Mary V. RUDDY

Ruddy, Mary Virginia, age 87, of Genesee, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010. A Funeral Mass will be 11 AM Thursday, August 19, 2010 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 11110 N. Saginaw, Mt. Morris. A memorial visitation will be held 5-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township. Cremation has taken place. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to CFCA - Christian Foundation for Children and Aging or Covenant House for Homeless Children. Mary was born in Flint the daughter of Thomas and Celestine (Stockman) Hughes. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Mary was a beautiful and caring person. What she enjoyed most was spending time with her family. She was active in water aerobics at the YMCA and was a member of the Bridge Club. She worked as a manager of the candy department at Smith Bridgman's in downtown Flint. She will be greatly missed by many. Survivors include, daughters, Colleen (Chris) Howes of Lapeer, Mary Ann Ruddy and boyfriend Randy Booden of Berkley, Therese Foy of Florida, sons, Patrick (Debbie) Ruddy of Traverse City, Richard (Mary) Ruddy of Fenton, Michael (Judy) Ruddy of Burton, grandchildren, Amiee, Chris, Ryan, Tom, Nick, Christie, Jenny, Christin, Greta, Andrea, Paul, great grandchildren Alex, Nora, Gabriel, Isabelle, Gavyn, Addysun, Joey, Allie, Max and Olivia.
