RICHMOND, Mary "Joyce" - age 86, of Durand, died Thursday, April 21, 2016. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Monday, April 25, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Durand, 804 W. Main St., Durand with Rev. Russell Park officiating. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, and 11 AM until time of service at the church on Monday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Joyce, as she was called, was born January 14, 1930 in Heber Springs, AR. She moved from Arkansas in 1954. Joyce and her husband, Fred worked together at Pure Oil Truck Stop while raising three daughters and adopting a daughter, Juretha, who is now deceased. Surviving are: three daughters, Sandra (David) Burton, Donna Sue (David) Domby, Mary Kathleen Godman; grandchildren, David Earl Burton, Denise Lynn Checker, Tony Domby, Heather Beden, Kasandra Godman; many great-grandchildren; sister, Winnie Sue Doyle of AR.
