Mary Anne Readett

READETT, Mary Anne - was welcomed into her heavenly home September 17, 2008. She was born February 11, 1933 and raised in Flint. The bedrock of Mary Anne's life was both faith and family. She was an active Christian. She was an avid Motorhomer with a large community of RV friends. Their trips included mission and service projects. Mary Anne was an extraordinarily talented artist with needle and thread, creating legions of teddy bears, needlepoint and cross stitch projects, and quilts her family will cherish for years to come. She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Paul; children, Linda (Jack) Quirk, Barbara (Ralph Volk) Derian, and Stephen (Anne). She was a loving Nana to: Matthew, Scott, Sarah, Samuel, Daniel, Marissa, Reuben and Anna. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy St., Fenton with Pastor E. Taveirne officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fenton United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
