POWELL, Mary Lou (Skarritt) - Age 77, of Fenton, died December 2, 2004 at Alterra Clare Bridge in Grand Blanc. Funeral Services will held 11AM Monday, December 6, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd. Fenton. Rev. Audrey Charlton officiating. Burial will be in Tyrone Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association. Visitation will be 4-8PM Saturday and 12-4 and 6-8 Sunday at the funeral home. Mary Lou was born on January 14, 1927 the daughter of Roy and Elizabeth (Green) Skarritt, and attended Granger School in White Lake Township. She married Gerald Powell on October 3, 1947 in Milford. Mrs. Powell worked in the cafeteria at Huron Valley Schools as well as Hartland Schools. Mary Lou loved to dance, garden, sew, crochet and make crafts as gifts. She is survived by her husband, Gerald (Judd); sons, Steve and wife Sharon of Hendersonville, NC; Clark and wife Rene of Holly; daughters, Becky and husband Mike Klinkhamer of Panama City Beach, FL, Annie and husband Tom Lockwood of Fenton; grandchildren, Ryan, Stephanie, Clark W., Jake and Jeff; many nieces nephews, and friends. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death. The family extends great appreciation to the staff at Alterra Clare Bridge for their kindness and loving care they provided for Mary Lou.
