Mary Pavlica

PAVLICA, Mary  Age 97, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, May 8, 2003 at Durand Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Fr. Amos Wischmeyer officiating. Interment will be held at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Monday and 9 am until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Pavlica was born August 5, 1905 in Czechoslovakia and had resided in Swartz Creek since 1912. She married Thomas G. Pavlica in November of 1922 in Swartz Creek; he preceded her in death on December 30, 1968. She was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by: daughter, Helen Mojzis of Brighton; seven grandchildren, Mariann, Patricia, Sharon, Thomas, Victoria, Pamela and Mary; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by: her son, Edward in 1971; daughter, Mildred Charkut in 1999; son-in-law, Steve Mojzis.
