Mary E. Nellis

NELLIS, Mary E.  Age 78, of Swartz Creek, passed away Saturday, June 04, 2005 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. She was born May 26, 1927, the daughter of George and Effie (Swartought) Lewis in Chicago, IL. She married Robert Nellis November 21, 1947 in Flint. Mrs. Nellis enjoyed gardening, shopping and similar activities and was devoted to her family. She is survived by many friends and family including: husband, Robert of Swartz Creek; two daughters, Louann (Bill) Hook of Frankenmuth, Linda (Gordon) Hoy of Peachtree City, GA; son, Daniel (Regina) Nellis of Byron; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; niece, Nancy Custer; nephew, George Lewis. She was preceded in death by: son, Robert; brother, George. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.
