MILLER, Mary Frances - Age 88, died Sunday, January 21, 2018. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Kuttawa Cemetery in Kuttawa, KY. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Mary Frances was born October 25, 1929 in Cumberland City, TN, the daughter of Harvey and Ora (Powers) Stinson. She married Eugene V. Miller August 30, 1974 in Howell. "Fran & "Gene" owned and operated the very successful Mid-Continental Claim Service & Administrators, Inc. from 1970 thru 2001 servicing the Detroit area. "Fran" was known for her hardworking determination and her integrity throughout her career in the insurance business. After retiring, they shared a few of their best years together in the Kentucky Lakes area. They then came back to Michigan in 2007 where Eugene preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 2007. She would reside in the Davison/Fenton area the remainder of her life. Surviving are: her daughter, Sena (Wesley) Bowling of Davison; step daughter, Cynthia Meyer (Bill Gailey) of Florida; step son, Gordon Miller of Cheboygan; grandchildren, Katie and Maria Meyer and Mark Miller; sister, Bettye (Jay) Latham; and nieces and nephews.
