Mary Ann KRAUSE

KRAUSE (Kraszewski), Mary Ann - Age 96, of Haslett formerly of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, September 26, 2009 in Haslett. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, October 1, 2009 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek, with Fr. Steven Mattson officiating. Burial immediately following at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM, where a vigil service will be held at 7 PM; and at church Thursday from 10 AM until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice. Mrs. Krause was born September 12, 1913 in Boyne Falls, the daughter of Michael and Carrie (Czykoski) Jazwinski. She was a graduate of Boyne Falls High School were she was a member of the state championship basketball team. She married Anthony Krause and he preceded her in death in February 1, 1974. Mrs. Krause was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and the St. Raphael Guild. She was also a member of the U.A.W. Surviving are: daughter, Toni Jo and husband Jim Ivey of Laingsburg; 2 grandchildren, Gretchen Ivey and husband Stefan Schmid of Kettering, England and James Ivey of Lansing; several nieces and nephews.
