Mary Karhoff

KARHOFF, Mary Jean - Age 77, of Swartz Creek, died April 19, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, April 23, 2015 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Entombment to follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, where a rosary will be prayed 7 PM on Wednesday. Visitation will also be held 10 AM until time of service at the church Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Mary was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 4, 1937 the daughter of the late Joseph and Martha (Crook) Cote. She married Franklin Karhoff in Pontiac on June 3, 1956. Mary enjoyed ceramics, knitting and cake making. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and the McLaren Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are: husband, Franklin "Frank" Karhoff of Swartz Creek; children, Cindy (Brian) Boyd of WI, Franklin (fiancee' Shannon Sisk) Karhoff of Linden, Susan (Steve) Scheaffer of TX; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
