Mary Hanson

Hanson, Mary Margaret - Age 78 of Fenton, passed away on January 12, 2018. She was born in Ontario, Canada on February 21, 1939. Mary was a retired McLaren Hospital mental health nurse who helped many patients work through difficult times in their lives. Mary was a gracious, and loving listener to all. Her main priority in life was to provide an abundance of unconditional love to her family and friends. Her hobbies included gardening, garage sale shopping, reading, walking with neighbors and watching Michigan State sports on TV. Mary leaves behind her husband of 59 years Jon Hanson, her daughter Karen (Rick) Stokes, sons Dan (Jeanne), Dave (Mary), Paul (Diedra) and several grandchildren including Jade, Jordan, Nicole, Taylor, Brendan, Cole, Derek, Kory, Ryan, and Mikayla. She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Pearson, father Victor Pearson, dear brother William Pearson, and her loving Aunt Bess Mueller. Visitation will be held 2-4 PM Saturday, January 20, 2018 Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton.
