GUNNELS, Mary Elizabeth - Age 85, of Mt. Morris, died Saturday, April 25, 2015. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Mary was born October 6, 1929 in Flint, the daughter of Ralph Randolph and Ella Adelaide (Derr) Troyer. She was a 1947 graduate of Utley High School. She married Robert Gunnels on April 2, 1949 in Flint. Mary was a member of the Clio Church of God. Mary is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Randy (Rosemary) Gunnels of Burton, Vickey (Ted) Ormiston of Clio, Bobby Gunnels of Mt. Morris; grandchildren, Brian Gunnels, Richie Gunnels, Shauna (Dan) Garner, Megan Ormiston (William Recker), Kyle (Melissa) Gunnels; great-grandchildren, Danny Gunnels, Laiken Garner; sisters, Eleanor Rardin and Linda Wahlers of Flint. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Becky Clark; brothers, Don, Dean, Lloyd and Vern Troyer; sister, Arlene.
