Mary Margaret Groll-Brown

GROLL-BROWN, Mary Margaret - age 59, of Fenton, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, February 10, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 600 N. Adelaide St. Fenton. Fr. David Harvey, Celebrant. Visitation 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, February 9, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton and 10:00 AM -11:00 AM Saturday at church. A Rosary will be prayed 7:00 PM Friday at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions in Mary Margaret's memory would be appreciated to Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance.

Mary Margaret was born May 8, 1964 in Flint, the daughter of John J. and Margaret Mary (Woods) Groll. She graduated from Fenton High School in 1982, and later from U of M Flint. She was employed as a Clinical Research Coordinator for Radiation Oncology at Michigan Medicine. Mary Margaret was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton. She was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers. She enjoyed dancing and was a proud Fenton H.S. Cheerleader. Mary Margaret enjoyed traveling and especially vacationing in Mexico.

Mary Margaret is survived by her children, Ryan Brown, Hayden Brown, Meredith (Daniel) Arant, and Madelynn Brown; brothers, John (Marsha) Groll, Christopher Groll, Dr. Jeremy (Lorie) Groll; nieces Elizabeth, Jocelyn, Shelby, Lorin, Caroline, Hilary, and nephew, Michael.
