GREGSON, Mary Ellen - began her adventure on October 4, 1940 and sadly it ended on March 6, 2010. She was a great wife to her husband John C. Gregson and lived her dream with him for 47 years. She was a fabulous mother to her children Gina Anderson, Jon Shannon Gregson, Tracie Whittum, Leslie Mendoza and their spouses. She was also the best grandmother to her grandchildren, Noelle, Natalie, Julie, JD, Katy, Seth, and Arianna whom she loved dearly and treated each one as if they were her favorite. She was a loving sister to her Brother James Ovick, and Sister Susan Knapinski, and a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews. She was known for being many things: a bus driver, softball coach and a voter poll worker, but what she was best known for was being the kindest woman you could ever hope to meet. Mary Ellen loved life and had many interests. She was a quilt maker, a stained glass artist, a Swedish weaver, plus everything in between. She was also very fond of genealogy, and documented a great history family. Mary was also a sports enthusiast, and in her early years was a great athlete. Mary Ellen will be greatly missed with every opportunity we have to laugh, learn, love and lest we forget, cry. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Clarence Courts officiating.
