FLETCHER, Mary Lou, (Chapman) age 72, of Englewood, Florida formerly of Fenton, died Tuesday, January 23, 2007 in Florida. A memorial service will be held 2PM Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Dr. Rev. Michael Burns officiating. The family will receive friends 1PM Saturday until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society. Mary Lou was born February 14, 1934 in Fenton the daughter of John H. and Mary A. (Burss) Chapman. She graduated from Fenton High School in 1952. Mary Lou married Kenneth Fletcher in Flint, December 1954, and he preceded her in death July 21, 1998. She was employed by Fenton Community Schools as a secretary at North Road Elementary and at Fenton Medical Center as a cashier until her retirement in 1997. Surviving are her 4 children, Kathleen Swartz and husband Doug of Springfield, Ohio, Kenneth Fletcher and wife Kathryn of Fargo, North Dakota, Kyrle Fletcher and wife Vicki of Flint, Kelly Fletcher and wife Jeannie of Fenton; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers, Jack Chapman of Avon, Indiana, James Chapman of Millersburg, David and Paul Chapman both of Tennessee, William Chapman of Linden; 6 sisters, Jane Sharpe of Highland, Eileen (Bill) Brown of Fenton, Kathleen (Mason) Kirk of Gladwin, Judy (Don) Spillers of Oklahoma, Carol Conn of Fenton, Jean (Michael) Miller of Linden; 2 stepsisters, Ruth Ann Martin of Fenton, Mary Ellen (Chuck) Withey of Linden; 1 stepbrother, David Watts of Arkansas; aunt, Jean Chapman of Linden. She was also preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Goodwin Watts; brother, Terry Chapman; 2 brother-in-laws, Jesse Sharpe, Thurman Conn; 2 sister-in-laws, Wilma Chapman, Margaret Chapman.
