Mary “Hannah” Finch was born July 11 1990 in Flint, Michigan. Hannah loved reading, boating, swimming, watching football, going to Luckys for dinner with family, camping & motorcycling with her Mom & Dad and Brother Remy. She went to music festivals visiting Electric Forest 7 years consecutively, and enjoyed Griz many times. Time with family and friends was important to her. Traveling to England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales with People to People as a Student Ambassador brought her great joy. She also went to El Salvador on a mission with the Church, and embarked on an adventure to Alaska with her Grandparents Joseph and Jean Mark. Many trips to Colorado/Red Rocks to hang out and attend shows with her dear friend Taylor Latner. She visited the Florida Keys many times throughout her life with family and her fiance.
Hannah took piano lessons for many years, performing at the FIA as a member of the Junior St. Cecelia’s. Graduating from Linden High School she continued her education at U of M Flint completing a BA in Accounting. She loved working at Uncle Rays for 10 years and made life long friends there. After earning her degree she got her dream job at E.L.Hollingsworth, Hannah really enjoyed working there for they treated her like family. On Christmas Eve 2019 much to her delight she got engaged to the love of her life Jesse Munday. They enjoyed life fully, preparing meals together, traveling and hanging out with lifelong friends and watching TV. Some of Hannah’s favorite shows include Gilmore Girls, Step Brothers, The Office, Elf and anything with Will Ferrell.
One day Hannah told her mom “I like to have fresh fruit in the house and chocolate chips in my pancakes. Write it down.” Mom wrote it down, she hurried to the store and the next day she prepared it and told Hannah breakfast was ready, Hannah came in laughing saying “Mom that was a quote from Step Brothers” Mom said “But you had me write it down.” Hannah didn’t like pancakes, this became an ongoing point of joy that we will always cherish.
