FAIRCHILD, Mary Lena (O'Dell) - Age 88, of Fenton, died January 8, 2015. Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday, January 12, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad Street, Linden. Rev. Jeremy Peters officiating. Visitation will be held 12 PM until time of service Monday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Lake Fenton United Methodist Church or Habitat for Humanity. Mary Lena was born November 25, 1926 in Beech Grove, AR, the daughter of Luther and Lillie (Draper) Robinson. She retired from Lake Fenton Schools in 1989, where she taught elementary school 30 years. Mary Lena was a member of Fenton VFW Women's Auxiliary and Lake Fenton United Methodist Church. Surviving are her children, Scott O'Dell, Robin (Terrie) O'Dell, Loretta "Lori" O'Dell; grandchildren, Kenneth (Kathy) O'Dell, Kathryn (Richard) Hammond, Andrew O'Dell; four great grandchildren, Hunter and Lilly Hammond, Tiffany and Casey O'Dell. She was preceded in death by her husband, William O'Dell; husband, Gordon Fairchild; four brothers, Elgain, Leo, Howard, Arval Robinson; two sisters, Louise Boughton, Lenora Beasinger.
